Maybe your PS3's network settings got messed up by the storm outage(?) and needs to be reconfigured. Also, was your wireless home network using some sort of security protocol like WPA? Did you need to set up a dedicated IP (or IP range), etc. for the PS3? Check to make sure everything's still set up the same way as before.
